After receiving a phone call from Mrs Holgate, who was at the time without central heating or hot water. As this was quite an urgent job, we prioritised the enquiry and got round to survey the job the same day. After surveying the property and discussing all the different options available. Mr & Mrs Holgate decided which new boiler to be fitted at their property in Walsall.
The new boiler they decided to have fitted was the Worcester Bosch 8000 40kw Life Combi Boiler. The old system had a Hot Water Cylinder in the airing cupboard. Mr & Mrs Holgate wanted this removed as they wanted to make the shower area bigger. By fitting a new combi boiler, this enabled us to remove the Hot Water Cylinder. We had to fit the new boiler in a bedroom, but being one of the most quietist boilers on the market, noise will not be an issue. A cupboard will be built around the new boiler in the bedroom.
The boiler replacement took around 3 days to complete. As you can see from the picture, we fitted a Worcester Bosch heating filter, inline scale reducer and a shock arrestor. All these are to protect the boiler and recommended to be fitted by Worcester Bosch on all new boiler installations.
To control the new boiler, Mr & Mrs Holgate decided to have the Worcester Bosch Comfort 2 Thermostat fitted. It is a great thermostat and comes with the same guarantee as the boiler.
As we are Worcester Bosch Accredited Installers, We were able to give Mr & Mrs Holgate an extended guarantee period to 10 years. That is 10 years complete peace of mind, all parts (within the new boiler) and labour are now covered by Worcester Bosch. The thermostat and filter are also covered for 10 years.
