What is a Powerflush?

If your system is left untreated, it will effect the efficiency and dramatically decrease the life-span of your boiler.

A powerflush is a process that removes sludge, rust and other contaminants from within your central heating system. A machine is attached to your central heating system, water & a cleaning chemical is then pumped around the system at high velocity to remove the sludge and contaminants. For maximum results, each radiator is flushed out individually, this means the machine is forcing the water & cleaning chemical around one radiator at a time.

How do I know I need a Powerflush?

There are tell tale signs you may need a powerflush.

- Cold spots on radiators - mainly at the bottom
- Loud/Banging noise from the boiler or central heating pump
- Heating is slow to warm up
- Radiators are cold but pipes are hot
- Boiler is over heating - boiler constantly needs re-setting
- Some radiators are not as hot as others
- Black water comes out when you bleed a radiator
